Lock & Load Bistro honoured Big Scrub Rainforest Day on Thursday, October 27 – an annual event that endeavours to inspire and motivate individuals and groups to become active in the conservation and restoration of the Big Scrub Rainforest.

The occasion was spent celebrating the release of Stone & Wood‘s BIG SCRUB Lager, all while supporting the efforts of environmental non-profit, Landcare Australia.

With only one per cent left of the largest sub-tropical rainforest on the East Coast, Stone & Wood created its latest limited release brew, BIG SCRUB, as part of its ‘Beers of our Backyard’ range, to remind us to preserve the natural beauty of our backyard.

On the night, guests enjoyed a special spring style Grazing Feast – a specially prepared, three-course meal paired with Stone & Wood handcrafted brews.

There were also two raffles held, with plenty of merchandise to win, plus a small panel of Stone & Wood brewing experts to rub shoulders with.
