StreetSmart Australia is hosting its annual Australia-wide CafeSmart day on Friday 3 August, where hundred of coffee rosaters and cafes around the country team up to donate one dollar from every coffee sold to help end homelessness. West End cafes Morning After, NYC Bagel Deli, PlentyVeneziano Coffee and Sol Bakery will partake in the initiative, as will South Bank cafes Single O, Olio, Cowch and Denim Co.

Coffee lovers can get involved by visiting local cafes who have committed to the cause, and purchase a coffee. The community can also donate the cost of a coffee online, and sign up their local cafe. iOS Smartphone users can also download the Ping Melbourne app to find their closest three CafeSmart locals. More than 600 cafes across Australia took part in the fundraising day last year, raising more than $215,500.

StreetSmart Australia is a not-for-profit organisation tackling homelessness in Australia at the point of real need at a community level by initiating community events and fundraisers to raise money and awareness for people who are homeless, or are at risk.
