West End will welcome new gin bar Covent Garden on 16 November. The bar will draw inspiration from London’s popular dining hub of the same name.

Owned by Lachlan, Sue, Duncan and Andrea Bird, Covent Garden will boast more than 100 different types of gin.

This new spot will be an immersive garden oasis, featuring a stained glass sky dome, and upper and lower courtyards.

The area will also consist of a  hidden late night cocktail lounge and a balcony overlooking Boundary Street.

Diners can enjoy a menu showcasing local craft gins across three bars, paired with contemporary share plates like the juniper smoked salmon, kale remoulade, pearls, anise herbs and lavosh, or the lamb shoulder with panzanella salad, yogurt and lemon myrtle.

Pimms and Aperol Spritz will be available throughout the summer, alongside a modern cocktail menu, including The Garden of Eden – a mix of Tanqueray gin, absinthe rinse, fresh pressed apple juice, medicinal syrup, charred lime, and white pepper tincture.
