The force was most definitely strong in Brisbane as Queensland Symphony Orchestra performed Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back to film on Saturday 1 December. Star Wars fans experienced the scope and grandeur of the beloved story in a live symphonic concert experience at the Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre (BCEC). The Queensland Symphony Orchestra performed the film’s iconic music score by John Williams, while the movie was screened on the big screen. The spectacular concert led by acclaimed conductor Nicholas Buc, was praised by lovers of cinema and classical music alike with many attendees embracing the experience by dressing in their finest Star Wars regalia.
