The 9th Asia Pacific Triennial of Contemporary Art’ (APT9) will bring major new and significant works by artists such as Jonathan Jones (Australia), Aisha Khalid (Pakistan) and Iman Raad (Islamic Republic of Iran), interactive artist projects for children and families in APT9 Kids, as well as two projects involving more than 30 women artists from the Pacific. The exhibition will feature over 80 artists and groups whose works use innovative approaches to indigenous traditions and modern thought, the re-imagining of histories or poetic narratives and the ability to show our universal yet diverse relations to nature and culture.
