An important part of modern Greek history, Oxi Day, also referred to as the Day of No, marks the moment when General Metaxas rejected an ultimatum given by the Italian dictator, Benito Mussolini, during World War II – propelling Greece into war with Italy and ultimately into WWII. Chef in Residence David Tsirekas will commemorate the anniversary with a special degustation dinner in Nostimo Restaurant that celebrates Greece’s history and some of its great historic battles.
