Emphasising the balance between environment and materials, the London Residences design draws inspiration from vibrant West End and the streets of London.

Combining the distinct character of West End while hinting at the iconic style of London, the boutique development on Bailey Street has been designed to be immersed in West End, rather than placed upon it. Developer Marco Ferro form Ferro Property Group says designing the building to merge with the existing West End landscape without compromising the distinct local culture was paramount. “We have been focused on perfecting the design both internally to ensure each residence is completely unique and special for owners, and externally, to ensure London Residences complements the West End character and location,” he said.

The $27 million dollar development promises to deliver deluxe apartment living to the 4101 on a grand scale. London Residences will feature 27 three and four-bedroom home-sized residences; a mix of three two-storey manors, two terrace residences and 22 three-bedroom residences.

A contemporary interpretation of classic architecture, the style is carried from the façade to the lobby, to the rooftop retreat. Developed in partnership with architecture firm Ferro Arch, quality handcrafted design has been cleverly married with classic details and a contemporary materials palette to reflect the project’s inspiration: London. The development’s traditional influence is finished with a modern flare to ensure the property sits comfortably in its environment.

Building form capitalises on natural light and cross-ventilation throughout the three and four-bedroom apartments and common areas. Each residential space captures the natural surrounds of West End, seeking to draw them into the property. “We were committed to taking the Residences to a new level: far, far removed from the very general and cluttered offer across Brisbane,” Mr Ferro said.

Interiors have been expertly designed by Daniella Rowles Design, a boutique local interior architecture and design practice. Daniella’s ability to think outside the box conceptually and from a materials and construction perspective is on display throughout London Residences.

“Materials are cool and light to reflect our Queensland lifestyle, and are accented with elements of warm timber to truly personalise the spaces both inside and out,” Ms Rowles said.
All aspects of the development have been designed with quality, luxury and liveability in mind. Kitchens will feature deep benchtops, exquisite joinery and high end appliances, along with stunning views which can be enjoyed from the balcony and expanded alfresco dining space.

The celebration of the West End lifestyle will continue on the rooftop terrace. Resort-style facilities including pool, gymnasium and steam room provide a beautiful haven and retreat, as well as an extension of the apartments. An oasis in the sky, sweeping views of Brisbane’s skyline can be enjoyed while residents relax.

“Inspired by its namesake, the iconic city of London and all that it represents in terms of style, music, fashion, space and more, London Residences is a very exciting project,” Mr Ferro said. Construction is due to commence in July this year.
