After years of concocting a quality tea leaf, Madame Flavour has channelled her passion, care, and experience to transform the everyday Australian “cuppa”, launching a new black tea range including brews Melbourne Morning, Australian Morning, and Australian Afternoon Grey.

Madame Flavour Managing Director and Tea Blender Corinne Noyes said she was excited at the opportunity to blend the best tasting cup of tea possible. “One of my customers told me, ‘I don’t always have time for leaf tea – sometimes I’m lucky to have 30 seconds.’ It inspired me to find a solution for her,” says Corinne.

Madame Flavour is best known for quality leaf tea pyramids and bold flavours. The new tea range is packaged in traditional paper teabags that infuse faster – and are crafted to suit busy tea drinkers still looking for quality black tea. Not only are her teas dreamed up locally, Madame Flavour has also sourced contemporary works from Australian artists – Bay the Artist (Ashton Boyd), Kylie Fogarty, and Ember Fairbairn for the new packaging.

“It took time. I tasted tea from dozens of estates and spent over a year to create the ultimate morning tea. Then I asked our customers to try it, and we refined it until we ended up with something really special,” says Corrine. “I chose Ceylon tea, not only because of its reputation as the highest quality tea in the world, but also because Ceylon is where my parents met and married in the 50s. It’s also the tea that has a flavour we Australians love. The estates are located high in the mountains of Nuwara Eliya and in the Singharaja rainforest region – places I’ve visited and bought from for many years now. The leaf is handpicked, the teas traditionally made, the intention all about quality. This gives a freshness and flavour that, I think, perfectly captures the ultimate cup of tea. The blends are perfect for when you need to pick up the pace, but still want to enjoy the pleasure of beautiful quality tea.”
