Each year, more than eight million metric tonnes of waste is discarded in oceans. To tackle this problem head on, swimwear brand Sunflair is introducing its latest collection Colour Up Your Life, a swimwear range which is made almost entirely from recycled materials.

Primarily created using old fishing nets. The Colour Up Your Life range is made from innovative  fabric ReNew Cult. This fabric is created in a sustainable process based on the use of recycled raw materials and waste reduction. The resulting highly technical fabric is UV protection but is breathable, is pilling and abrasion resistant, quick drying and has a two-way stretch.

The collection may be eco-green but the designs and colour palette are anything but predictable. With block colours big in fashion, the Colour Up Your Life collection covers nine different colours. These include vibrant turquoise, cobalt, fuchsia pink, delicate pale blue, scarlet red, rich terracotta, lime green, khaki and the essential black.

Each colour is showcased in a seven piece collection, that is designed to be mixed and matched. Each piece is sold individually with several styles, colour options and sizes, to tailor to personal taste. There are two one piece swimsuits, with one swimsuit boasting a classic, traditional shape, and one is a designer style with multi-platted, strap detailing. Two bikini tops, a classic underwire style and one multi-style top with platted straps that can be worn three different ways, including strapless. This along with three different styles of bikini bottoms makes this swimwear collection not only sustainable, but also versatile.
