The Main Stage presented by The Courier-Mail, Ten, goa and VZUG will be a bustling haven of food, celebrities and entertainment in the South Bank Piazza. Learn from the best how to transform mediocre culinary skills into impressive dinner party tricks with celebrity chefs including Network Ten’s MasterChef Australia Judges, Matt Preston, Gary Mehigan, George Calombaris as well as Sarah Wilson, Katherine Sabbath, Jessica Sepel and Adam Liaw set to take the stage.
Also on stage will be one of Australia’s most charismatic chefs, Miguel Maestre from Network Ten’s The Living Room. There is no need to worry about taking notes at the cooking demonstrations, as you can purchase cook books and even meet your favourite chef while getting your book signed. The Queensland Taste Stage presented by The Courier-Mail will offer an intimate food and wine experience, where guests can sit back and relax and even ask the local chefs and experts questions as they discuss the freshest local produce and their favourite ways to use it. The Hunting Club presented by Meat and Livestock Australia and The Charming Squire is an atmospheric pop-up bistro serving some of Queensland’s best meat and malt. Renowned for its luxe styling and farm fresh fare, The Hunting Club is the perfect place to indulge and socialise with like-minded patrons. Festival goers can also relish striking city views across the gleaming Brisbane River from River Quay presented by eatSouthBank, enjoying live tunes and a selection of gourmet eats. The Picnic Patch presented by Lockyer Valley Regional Council will host a range of fresh produce stalls to be adored on picnic tables and blankets, while the Kids Collective offers free kids activities designed to help children understand the importance of sustainability.
