The Six Secrets is Australian author and researcher Daniel Springfield’s latest novel. Comparable in format to Dan Brown’s The Da Vinci Code, The Six Secrets is an adventure thriller that blends real and fictional characters to lift the lid on secrets and controversies kept hidden by the widely controversial United States National Security Agency (NSA).

Prior to Edward Snowden blowing the whistle on the NSA’s saturating global monitoring of Internet and phone communications, few people had heard of the NSA. At one time the NSA was jokingly called “No Such Agency” but by the late 1950s around 90,000 people worked for the agency. This was before the Internet, GPS, and mobile phone networks, so what did these people do?

Author Daniel Springfield addresses these questions and other discrepancies, having spent thousands of hours meticulously researching and writing this exposé into secret underground bases, the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA), and the NSA’s close alignment and partnerships with private corporations. The book also delves into the US’s privatisation of the nuclear weapons program, UFO investigations, knowledge of EBEs (Extraterrestrial Biological Entities), the role behind the scenes of many famous scientists, including Albert Einstein, Edward Teller, and Robert Oppenheimer, and the deaths of whistle blowers “silenced” while attempting to expose the truth.

“Despite this being a fiction book, albeit based on tangible facts, the dangers in revealing all this information are very real,” Daniel explains.

Through the story and characters, Daniel relays personal accounts of computer hacking and monitoring throughout his years of investigative work. The book is primarily set within Australia, with main the main character, an American journalist, C.J. Stroheim.

While delving into his late father’s 34 year career with the NSA, C.J. meets feisty, beautiful Australian lawyer, Emma Burgess. There are those who want the truth kept hidden, with villains ultimately pursuing C.J. and Emma across Australia, then Africa, Europe, and Asia. Between dramatic car chases and hails of bullets, C.J. and Emma piece together incredible information, leading to the uncovering shocking truths and The Six Secrets.
