The Queensland Symphony Orchestra conducted by Alondra de la Parra celebrated the life and works of musical powerhouse Leonard Bernstein at Bernstein at 100 in the QPAC Concert Hall on Saturday 25 August. The concert, which took place on what would have been Bernstein’s 100th birthday, featured Andreas Haefliger on piano as well as the voices of Brisbane Chorale, Canticum Chamber Choir and Voices of Birralee, and included some of Bernstein’s most iconic works including his beloved West Side Story, The Age of Anxiety and On the Waterfront.
