Barre classes have been the new fitness trend that has taken over both the UK and the US has finally hit Brisbane! With a passion for health and fitness, fully qualified Barre Instructor Ash is introducing 23 classes over 6 days in her studio for those looking for a unique style of workout. Barre lengthens and tones muscles all over the body allowing you to feel not only strong within your body, but also in your mind.

Barre combines strength, flexibility, cardio and meditation so it offers are great mix of everything, Ash says. Do not fret if you are somewhat rhythmically challenged, there are classes for everyone no matter your age or fitness level. Just a few of the class styles include Barre Classic, Barre Cardio, Barre Endurance and Barre Stretch. Each class uses isometric movements, sometimes with weights, to improve tone and improve your flexibility and overall fitness.

Despite the lower intensity of Barre in comparison to other workouts such as high intensity interval training (HIIT), the smaller movements are enough to fire up your muscles and leave you feeling that rewarding burn after. For more information about classes and memberships see their website here. Classes start on the 25th of February.
