The Bromley Room in West Village will open to the public for three consecutive weekends beginning Saturday 30 September.

Visitors will be able to explore 1200 square metres of art installations, paintings, artworks and murals in the former Peter’s Ice Cream factory, courtesy of creative couple David and Yuge Bromley. There will also be the opportunity to meet the artists in person and select artworks to purchase and bring home.

The Bromley Room will also be open as part of the Brisbane Open House program on Saturday 7 October and Sunday 8 October. The weekend will include a living painting by David at 11am each day.

The Bromley Room forms part of West Village’s artist-in-residence program with Bromley & Co and local artists. It aims to bring art and creativity to public areas, enhancing West End’s already thriving cultural scene.

In the spirit of building relationships with both artists and the community, David has collaborated with the Charles Blackman Foundation to create the Blackman by Bromley series. He has also mentored Brisbane street artist Lucks.

The art gallery also doubles as an event venue, hosting sit-down dinners, launches, photo shoots and more.

The venue will be open from 10 AM to 5 PM on Saturdays and Sundays from 30 September to 15 October.
