The award winning Brooklyn Depot will open its third franchise in Australia this week, when the doors to the new South Bank restaurant open.
The new venue follows the success of the original Brooklyn Depot on the Gold Coast, and the recent opening in Surry Hills, Sydney. Brisbane locals and tourists will now be able to experience the delicious, Americanised meals for themselves, with the restaurant located centrally on Grey Street, South Bank.
Co-owner Michael Rose said that Brisbane was specifically chosen as the next location for Brooklyn Depot. “We have been canvassing locations for quite some time and we are so excited to officially announce that we are opening our authentic, all American concept to Brisbane. The city had better get ready for some incredible handcrafted American burgers and top shelf cocktails,” Mr Rose said.
Brooklyn Depot is inspired by old Brooklyn and has been causing a stir since opening on the Gold Coast in early 2015 and in Sydney only last month. Handcrafted, high quality burgers, hot dogs, salads, and desserts have kept visitors coming back time and time again. Also on offer are the tasty BBQ pork ribs, chicken wings, skinny fries, frickles, crib salads and so much more.
For those with a sweet tooth, Brooklyn Depot also has all your American dessert cravings covered. Double waffle ice cream sandwich and caramel pecan chocolate brownie are all best washed down with an award-winning Depot Shake. The thick hand-spun milkshakes can be enjoyed on their own, or there is an option to add alcohol for those over 18.
Brooklyn Depot is located at 168 Grey Street, South Brisbane. The new venue is open 7 days a week from 11am until late. Visit their website for more information.
