The line-up of award-winning home-grown performers includes favourites Darryl Braithwaite, Joe Camelleri (The Black Sorrows), Wendy Matthews, The Eurogliders, Mark Gable (former Choirboys front man) and Sarah De Bono.
President of the Sandgate and Districts Chamber of Commerce Bill Gollan believes the event will give South-East Queenslanders and beyond a chance to witness some of the most recognised names in Australian music, all in one place.
“We are thrilled to be bringing together the musicians we all know and love and have them play to an energetic audience of thousands in the gorgeous setting that is Moreton Bay,” he said.
Mark Gable will be opening the festival and Daryl Braithwaite will be the headline act before a massive collaborative finale with all the musicians to close the night.
“In giving the attendees something they’ve never seen before, we’ll be bringing the entire line-up together for an epic grand finale to close the festival,” said Gollan.
The artists on show at Day on the Bay have recorded multi-platinum albums, have multiple Australian Recording Industry Association (ARIA) awards to their name.
Local gourmet food trucks and various licensed bars will also be serving music fans and attendees on the day.
VIP tickets are available and include a four-hour food and beverage package and prime seating, while General Admission allows attendees to bring along picnic blankets and beach chairs.
Shuttle buses will run between the festival and both Bracken Ridge and Sandgate as off-street parking will be limited.
