Calling all coffee fanatics: Brisbane is welcoming its first Espresso Martini Festival on Tuesday, 15 August.

Sip your way through a variety of caffeinated concoctions created by the team at Brooklyn Standard while nibbling on a selection of Vietnamese street food by Fish Lane favourite, Hello Please.

Held in Fish Lane, South Brisbane, this celebration is perfect for anyone who is more than a little coffee obsessed.

“We’ve seen a rise in the popularity of the espresso martini with a twist, so it’s exciting to have the opportunity to celebrate it in one of Brisbane’s hottest new laneway precincts,” said event organiser Amelia Taylor.

Tickets are $35 pp  and include an espresso martini on arrival, plus a selection of street eats and bites from the team at Hello Please. No matter your taste, the team at Brooklyn Standard has come up with an eclectic menu of sip-worthy espresso martinis.

Expect to find cocktails made of tequila, vodka, and other surprise spirits.

With five different espresso martini cocktail recipes for attendees to sample, the Espresso Martini Festival seeks to assuage all tastes and introduce drinkers to new favourites.

Hello Please will be serving up their signature crispy chicken ribs, pork belly bao, grilled pork meatballs and a chicken coconut salad slaw.
