Light, sound and storytelling: Ephemera is a theatrical, 40-channel video installation celebrating the art, objects and ephemera that have inhabited Metro Arts, as seen through the eyes of the people who made it. Created by Benjamin Knapton, the installation combines 40 interviews from people integral to Metro Arts over the past 40 years. Using various video editing techniques across a multitude of screens, the work provokes questions about place, community and social context: how can architecture, people and organisations interact to create something worth talking about?
