Flowstate: Weaving Water Stories

Weaving Water Stories brings together six individual Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander weavers; Donna Page, Sonja Carmichael, Hannah Gutchen, Kim Williams, Kylie Cardwell and Sylvia Nakachi. Traditional practices and contemporary stories are told through an installation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander weaving. Join artists for a rare opportunity to discover the diversity of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander culture of this region, through weaving demonstrations, artist and curators talks. The large-scale public art installation inspires us to appreciate water – the giver of life which sustains us, replenishes us and connects us all.
