The West End Film Festival, boasting five official screenings and one free community screening, hopes to highlight the importance of creativity and connection whilst celebrating one of Brisbane’s most vibrant suburbs. The festival was established in 2009 by a group of local filmmakers aiming to support grassroots film production and will mark its 10th anniversary by doubling its major prize to $3000.
