Let’s set the clock back to 1950; a time when fashion was in its prime. A time before iPhones and the Internet, and before The Beatles officially formed.
The 50s were a real turning point in fashion and the simple elegant silhouettes that were created by designers in the period really shaped what we wear today. It just so happens that my wardrobe is jam packed with 50s dresses, vintage gloves and vintage handbags, so I thought I’d share five of my all time favourite 50s outfits with you.

Dress from Review, bag from the Salvo’s store, necklace from a London vintage fair, gloves from a garage sale and shoes from Target
