Created by two of Menulog’s original cofounders, FoodByUs found success in Melbourne and Sydney before expanding to Brisbane.
“With FoodByUs already having great success in both Sydney and Melbourne, we are looking forward to connecting locals with talented home cooks and predict Brisbane could have some of the best talent in the country,” said co-founder and managing director Ben Lipschitz.
Diners can indulge in the work of local masterchefs in the making who love to cook, bake, and create at home. FoodByUs also helps those looking to make a second income or turn their passion for cooking into a full-time job.
Enjoy recipes that have been passed down through generations or those whipped up by cooks who have travelled from continent to continent.
Options for those with special dietary requirements like gluten-free, vegan and more are also on the menu.
Options will include curries, casseroles, soups, pastas, baked goods, and sweets.
“[This] includes home cooks catering for special dietary needs. For example, busy mum Cinnamon Morissey who sells Everymite (a nutrient dense, energy breakfast spread alternative to Vegemite) started because her son could not eat vegemite or any other alternative on the market, due to numerous food intolerances,” said Lipschitz.
“It’s makers like these which are helping to change the way people in Brisbane eat.”
