About Up Late at GOMA

Channel your inner chameleon at Cindy Sherman Up Late (select Fridays, Jun – Sep) with art, talks, bars, music and screenings.

Hear from contemporary practitioners at a Storytellers’ talk. Be tempted by the food and drinks offering at the Up Late bars, discover a new you at the pop-up styling station, and enjoy sounds from a dynamic line up of international, national and local, all-female musicians in the heart of GOMA. Local DJ collective Cheated Hearts will fill the Long Gallery with music, before the headline performance on the River Room stage from a range of genre-defying, risk-taking, bold musicians.

The dynamic all-female line-up boasts an impressive cast of characters, including Eleanor Friedberger (USA), Major Leagues (BRIS), Mojo Juju (MELB), Kimya Dawson (USA), Sampa the Great (SYD), Jess Ribeiro (MELB) and Teeth & Tongue (MELB). Supported by Cheated Hearts DJs (Jane Doe, Sezzo Snot, and Eevvee).

Prize not exchangeable for cash or goods
