Resident West End print shop Kwik Kopy has a new owner, Craig Cunningham. A South African Australian man who has worked in sales for the past three years, he has been looking after Queensland sales for a Sydney company recently. With a previous 15 years experience working for himself in the printing industry, he was excited to get back into the industry he loved. “The Kwik Kopy West End store appealed to me because of its long history of 35 years in the area and the reputation of the Kwik Kopy franchise,” said Cunningham. “The support and commitment the head office provided me to make this happen has been incredible for which I am truly thankful.”

Cunningham is very passionate about the printing industry and the challenges of evolving into the new digital era. Kwik Kopy’s commitment and support to create an environment for each franchise to be successful are what really appealed to him. Between the Kiwk Kopy team of three, there is more than 35 years experience in the printing industry with two staff working with the store for five years and 13 years respectively. “Our experience enables us to not just be a printer but to partner with our customers in offering solutions that will be beneficial to the growth of their business. We are equipped with some excellent modern machinery enabling us to produce quality products and deliver within 24 to 48 hrs on 90 per cent of our jobs. It is something we continue to improve and very proud to achieve,” he said.

A byproduct of his sales experience, Cunningham is aware that West End is an evolving suburb with a customer base and landscape that is rapidly changing. “The company has evolved with the changing landscape of West End. We have diversified our product offerings including Print Signage and Promotional Products which enables us to service a variety of industries. We have upgraded our machinery enabling us to produce the highest quality of work quickly, which is required in bustling inner city business environment.”

The new king of Kwik Kopy loves the diversity of West End. The multicultural experience of the people and businesses Cunningham works with and those he encounters on a daily basis creates a truly special atmosphere that you do not experience anywhere else in the city.
