South Brisbane’s newest Laneway WV will host its first pop-up event Fromage Laneway on Sunday 27 May in the cobblestone precinct, celebrating all things cheese and wine.

Locals will leave Brisbane behind as they take in tropical garden surrounds and enjoy a selection of delicious cheeses from local West End providore The Stores. Event goers will soak up the heritage village atmosphere while enjoying authentic French jazz at this Sunday session with a difference. Tickets start at $35 per person, including entry to the event, a selection of cheese and a glass of sparkling on arrival.

Adding to the city’s burgeoning love of alleys, South Brisbane welcomed Laneway WV earlier this month. Set amidst the historic Peters Ice Cream Factory, there will be a series of themed pop ups to brighten the cobblestone precinct between May and October this year.

Not just a visual extravaganza, Laneway WV will also feature workshops and installations from some of Brisbane’s most celebrated artists and providores within the heritage village. From craft and cuisine to food and fashion, the laneway will celebrate the best of Brisbane’s vibrant wine, music, culture and arts scene.
