More than 800 guests came together for a night of fine dining, dancing and fun in the Plaza Ballroom of the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Friday August 26. The aim of the Moonlight Magic Dinner Dance is to make our community a warmer, friendlier and more accepting place.

One of the largest social inclusion events in Australia, the Dinner Dance brings together corporate leaders, politicians and the wider community with people experiencing social and economic exclusion in a wonderful social setting. Celebrating its 13th year, the Moonlight Magic Dinner Dance, is hosted by Micah Projects, the local Not For Profit organization. Ms Karyn Walsh, CEO of Micah Projects, said the Dinner Dance was a sellout again this year and proved the popularity of the event across the Brisbane community. “It truly is a magical and wonderful thing to see so many people from so many walks of life enjoying themselves in this marvelous inclusive event,” Ms Walsh said.
