Burger Project has released its limited-edition Oktoberfest burger, a golden-crumbed chicken schnitzel, topped with house-made mushroom sauce and sauerkraut, all between two milk buns, on the menu for two months only. To celebrate the release, Burger Project stores, including the South Brisbane store, will give away 100 free Oktoberfest burgers to the first in-store on Tuesday 2 October from 11am.

The latest in a series of limited-edition burgers that explore different cultures, cuisines and flavours, this tricked-up German-inspired burger is here to say a quick  ‘guten tag’ before leaving the menu on Sunday 2 December. To complement the burger, the store has also released a salted caramel and pretzel, house-made vanilla soft serve for a limited time.

Burger Project Founder Neil Perry says the limited-edition menu items are a way for customers to rediscover all that is great about Burger Project: premium produce, thoughtful creations and exciting flavour combinations. “We’re offering a fun twist on old-school Oktoberfest flavours,” Neil says. “Our Oktoberfest burger is a classic combination of crunchy schnitzel, tangy sauerkraut and a rich mushroom sauce, while our soft serve is inspired by the deliciousness of crunchy, salted pretzels.”
