Starting this weekend, the Salt Meats Cheese pop-up at West Village’s Laneway WV will feature gourmet providore stalls brimming with delectable artisan foods in addition to its coffee, breakfast, lunch, dinner and cocktail offering.

Visitors will be able to soak up West Village’s laneway atmosphere as they choose from a wide range of specially selected local and imported goods – colourful fresh produce, certified organic foods, fine cheeses, olive oils, jams, relishes and sauces and a selection of quality deli items. Lovers of fine food will be in gastronomic heaven as they peruse the rustic market stalls and stock up on indulgent treats – and the kids will be happy too, with free face-painting to celebrate this weekend’s launch.

A dedicated salt stand featuring Olsson’s beautiful smoked salt and organic salts will feature at the laneway event, as well as jam, indulgent nut butters: think raspberry and chia, strawberry and chia, pineapple and chia, orange and chia, chilli jam, almond butter with chia, almond and cacao butter, and macadamia butter with chia. And most indulgent of all? A truffle stand featuring truffle pecorino, truffle salami, truffle honey, truffle chips, truffle popcorn, truffle oils, various truffle breads and, of course, wonderful earthy fresh truffles.

Providore Laneway by Salt Meats Cheese will pop up in West End on Saturday 14 July from noon to 5pm, and Sunday 15 July from 9am to 3pm at 97 Boundary Street.
