The Queensland Symphony Orchestra performed Handel’s enduring masterpiece Messiah on Saturday December 7 in the QPAC Concert Hall under the baton of Stephen Layton. Christmas in Brisbane would not be complete without this much-loved festive tradition! The thrillingly powerful, Messiah featured an angelic chorus including soprano Sara Macliver, mezzo-soprano Helen Charlston, tenor Gwilym Bowen, bass-baritone Laurence Williams and the Brisbane Chamber Choir.
