The Queensland University of Technology’s annual Fleet Store is back again this year, returning from August 21 to 27. The retail fashion pop-up store will stock a range of unique accessories, garments and artworks designed and created by current QUT students and alumni.

In partnership with the Asia Pacific Design Library at the State Library of Queensland, The Fleet Store was initiated, created and is managed by QUT’s Bachelor of Fine Arts (Fashion) and Business students, the Fleet Store is a unique way for both groups to gain experience into both the creative and business side of running a store.

The labels that are being stocked include Covert Design which is a vegan apparel and accessory label designed by Claire Woodfield, a fashion and business student from QUT. Florentina Design is also a student label by QUT student Isabel Byram who aims to create unique fashion pieces that are both elegant and fun. Also in stock is Soot and Tilly Jewellery, which is a collaboration between Brisbane designers and sisters Edwina, a QUT alumni and Tilly Sinclair.
