New movie Strange But True is a noir-thriller, directed by Rowan Athale, based on the best selling novel by John Searles.

A woman surprises the family of her long-deceased boyfriend by telling them she is pregnant with his child. The family embarks on a desperate search for answers that will take them on a poignant and emotional journey, ultimately placing them in the path of murder and revenge. Some things are impossible to conceive.

Strange But True stars Margaret Qualley, Amy Ryan, Greg Kinnear and Connor Jessup. The film premiered as part of the Edinburgh International Film Festival in June this year. Strange But True explores family relationships and links to the past. The movie will be in cinemas throughout Australia from 17 October.
