Summer holiday entertainment program, SummerSet, returns to the Queensland Performing Arts Centre (QPAC) this year with a jam-packed family program. The entire program will run from November 29, 2016, to January 15, 2017, with The Very Hungry Caterpillar Show kicking off the SummerSet experience. The show will take place in the Cremorne Theatre at QPAC from November 29 to December 18.
Children aged two and up can get excited for Christmas early with the live musical spectacular Giggle and Hoot’s Magical Christmas live on the Concert Hall stage for one day only on December 10, 2016.
Adventurous wildlife presenter Steve Backshall welcomes in the new year with his brand new show Steve Backshall’s Deadly 60 Pole to Pole, in QPAC’s Concert Hall from January 4 to 5, 2017.
The Snail and the Whale, is a critically acclaimed live muscial stage adaptation of the modern classic picture book by Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler. Audiences aged four and up can enjoy the musical from January 6 to 22, 2017 in the Cremorne Theatre, QPAC.
Children’s favourite, Mister Maker, returns live on stage for three days only in the QPAC Concert Hall. Children aged three and up can enjoy this brilliant and fun new show from January 13 to 15, 2017.
