West Village has sorted Sunday afternoon plans in February, taking its own twist on the Sunday Session with The Deck WV, a place to relax and enjoy delicious food, cocktails and good times, kicking off on Sunday 3 February.
Bringing unique events for the first three Sundays in February from 3pm to 5pm, locals are invited to celebrate the heritage of the three Garden Pantry retailers – Mr Bunz, Cheeky Poké Bar, and Salt Meats Cheese – with festive food afternoons and drinks to match.
Kicking off this exciting summer series is Mr Bunz – celebrating Lunar New Year on Sunday 3 February. Wishing good fortune with a three-course roaming banquet, this feast will be filled with a selection of delicious dishes and a complimentary beer with each course to help soothe the food coma. To end on a sweet note, Mr Bunz will offer its infamous peanut butter and jelly buns for all to enjoy alongside a bubble tea cocktail.
Those who a little bit cheekier are invited to join West Village at Gin & Poké Sundays on The Deck WV on Sunday 10 February. Event-goers will indulge in a design-your-own poké bowl and a famous cheeky taco, alongside a gin bar, where each guest will sample a paddle board of six different gins to try for the afternoon, with more available to purchase.
Bottomless Amalfi Sunday on Sunday 17 February will be presented by Salt Meats Cheese. Guests will indulge in a pizza board and the Italian restaurant’s infamous cheese wheel, with unlimited Aperol Spritz on hand to quench and refresh all afternoon long.
