West Village has been named a finalist in the in the 12th annual Lord Mayor’s Business Awards, with the winners to be announced at a Gala Dinner at Brisbane City Hall on Friday 19 October, where Lord Mayor Graham Quirk will honour the achievements of Brisbane businesses and entrepreneurs.

The village has been an iconic land mark since the 1920s. It currently has eight apartment buildings, Woolworths, a mix of galleries, boutiques, traders and merchants interlinked by the laneways. Lord Mayor Graham Quirk said the finalists for the awards demonstrated a depth of talent within the Brisbane  business community. West Village is a finalist for two categories; the ISPT Award for Digital adoption strategy and the Yurika Award for sustainability in Business.

West Village is based in West End and is a residential and lifestyle village set against the back drop of the old Peters Ice Cream Factory.
